i just heard the best news for the past few weeks. a friend told me that nus may have a standalone accounting course next year. the keyword is 'may', but it's a hope, and i like having hopes.

no matter how slim the chances are, hope gives you something to look forward to, to work towards. certainly, it may end up being nought, but just look for new hopes when it comes to that. it beats treading water in the middle of an ocean without a direction to start swimming in, just waiting to drown. worse still, because you're good at treading water it takes forever to drown, and that isn't fun at all. i'd rather an orca just eat me up, or somebody show me a direction. oh wait, i can choose my own direction, and i nearly forgot that.
