... or rather, in my humble opinion, it should be. an English teacher once told me, familiarity breeds contempt. that was at least 5 years back. then, i smiled in silent agreement.

i just got indirectly 'reprimanded' via e-mail (a gentle reminder to the department) by my big boss for playing pool during working hours. if i were familiar with her, this wouldn't do any good to the harmony in a team. but now's all good, i'll keep my toe in line and suck it up till 6pm.

keep things easy, big bosses hang out with big bosses, staffs hang out with staffs (special occasions aside).
