went to charity fiesta at jurong east today! there was a corner where people wrote their wishes on pieces of paper, very simple things like an ez-link card, popular bookstore vouchers, rice cooker, blender etc.

how fortunate are we, that these small things which seem to be so ordinary to us, mean so much to others. i think it's gratifying for us more fortunate souls to do what we can to help those in need. we bought an ez-link card for some chap named andrew. hope we touched his heart, and in any event possible, that he pass the act of kindness around. as far as possible though, i prefer to 出力 than 出錢, so much more meaningful. the world's a good place.
