So, since my attention was brought once again to this blog that was presumably dead (by most and myself), I've been reading past entries to see what kind of nonsense I've managed to come up with in the past.

Turns out that not everything is nonsense. I -appear- to have learnt a lot over the past few years, be it from my parents, other people, TV, books, or what-not. Fact is, though, I recall none of those holier-than-thou words that (surprisingly) came from myself. That makes me wonder, has those lessons been wasted on me? Have I forgotten all the values and principles others have tried to impart?

My conclusion - No. I may have lost the writing skills I once wield, but the lessons I've learnt stay with me... The same way I can't quote anything from 'The Last Lecture' right after I've finished reading it, but what I've gleaned from the book will forever be etched on the walls of a secret recess in my brain.

-end of egocentric post-

The choice to come on exchange in the United States of America is probably one of the best decisions I have made in my life. It is not so much of the fun and luxury that I enjoy here, but more so of the people, culture and lifestyle I have interacted with and experienced here. I am pretty sure these experience will bring us a long way in future.

And in a bid to make this post more lighthearted... the fun and luxury here has been great as well, hah! Just wandering to different places without any objectives or goals is sufficient to make good ol' jeremy happy. I mean, what can beat -real- freedom? If one's always striving to meet some form of objectives or goals, deadlines, schedules, whatever... can there be said to have real freedom? I don't think so!

Ah crap... lighthearted, yes yes. That's why I usually leave trip plannings to the rest, because if I'm in charge of it, I'm so gonna get slaughtered. Haha... I love my mummy, daddy, sister, brother. I love my yazi dear, her duckies (and mine). I love all my friends (true friends come hard)! I miss singapore food! Durians, ba chor mee, roti prata! I miss mahjong omg. Andy / JW / Raymond please be prepared. I miss my own bed and bolster (man i've been sleeping without a bolster for the past 4 months, omg!). Much as I love it here... I miss hooooooooooooooooome!

Haha, my first post in a darn long time and it's so incoherent and crazy. =p I bet I'll laugh at myself the next time I read back!
